'Child with a dove' (Picasso)

'Child with a dove' (1901) by Pablo Picasso, symbol of the National Gallery in London, is about to go to Qatar

Many British and non-British thought it belonged to the state because it is in England since 1924 and has hung in the National Gallery since 1974.

It is a well-known painting that is incorporated into the museum's iconic set. Currently on display at The Courtauld Gallery in London as part of the exhibition 'Becoming Picasso: Paris 1901', from 14 February to 26 May.

This will surely be the last exit that makes the National Gallery because the painting belonged to the aristocratic family Aberconway, from North Wales, which was sold for 60 million euros to a buyer, according to ' The Art Newspaper ', perhaps the royal family of Qatar.

Art lovers in Britain have hit the sky because the picture will surely leave the country after the exposure.

The Government has halted the export license to provide an opportunity for British buyers to match the amount paid by foreigners. Art institutions expect a miracle because they have finished all their financial resources in recent years.
